The 13-week “Let’s Rebuild” sermon series on the Book of Nehemiah invites us as a church into a season of intentional rebuilding after a year of pandemic, social upheaval, political strife, and change in our own church. These ten companion studies are written to help you and your group join all of Vineyard Columbus in this season of rebuilding as we seek God together and take our cues from Nehemiah. If your group meets every week, we encourage you to press more deeply into one of the studies again – perhaps Study 1 on prayer, or another study, or to simply gather to serve together or for a social event. Whatever you decide to do, may God meet you and encourage you and your group during this series – Let’s Rebuild!

This week’s study is a bit different, and is an invitation to your group to join together in a time of confession and Communion in the coming weeks. It is best to give your group at least a little advance notice that this will be the focus of an upcoming group, and it should be emphasized that no one must participate in either the confession or the Communion part of the time if they prefer not to. Finally, leaders, be sure you review the material in advance and come to the meeting prepared with Communion elements. We think you will find this to be a significant time for you and your group, and are praying that it would be so.
